My Life Journey: How God Carried Me Through Every Season
Sometimes I stop and take a deep breath. I look back at my life and think, “I don’t even know how I made it through all of that.” The truth is—I didn’t. Not on my own. Every step, every tear, every storm…God carried me through when I couldn’t stand on my own.
And if you’re reading this today, maybe you need to be reminded of the same thing — God is carrying you even when you cannot see it, feel it, or believe it. My story is full of moments where I thought I would break… but every time, God stepped in and held me together.
I want to share my journey—not to talk about the pain, but to show how God stayed with me in every season. And that same God is with you, too, working in ways you may not even realize.
A New Country, A New Beginning
My story starts when I was just eleven years old. My mother and I left everything familiar and came to the United States. I didn’t understand the sacrifice, the fear, or the courage it took for her to leave home behind. All I knew was that life suddenly felt bigger, louder, and different.
I didn’t know where I fit in. I felt small in a place that felt so new. But even then, God planted a quiet strength inside me—a seed that would grow when life got hard.
“The Lord goes before you and will be with you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)
I didn’t understand it at the time, but looking back, God carried me through the uncertainty of starting over in a new land.
Becoming a Young Wife and Mother
As time passed, I got married and became a mother at twenty-three. I was young, full of hope, and determined to create a loving home. But life has a way of placing trials along the road, even when you’re not expecting them.
I balanced children, work, and responsibilities that felt like they never ended. I wanted to be strong for everyone, but there were days I felt like I was barely holding it together.
Still, God whispered strength into my tired heart.
I didn’t know it then, but my faith was about to be tested in ways that would change me forever.

Storms I Never Saw Coming
Some storms come slowly. Others hit without warning. My storms came both ways.
Multiple Surgeries
As a young wife with small children, doctors’ visits became part of my normal routine. Surgery after surgery reminded me that my body needed help, and I didn’t want to face it. I tried to stay calm for my family, but often the bravery on my face didn’t match the fear in my heart.
Four Miscarriages
Nothing prepares you for the silence of loss.
Nothing prepares you for holding hope one month and tears the next.
Four times, I prayed, hoped, and dreamed. Four times, those dreams slipped through my fingers.
Those were some of the heaviest moments of my life. But even then, God carried me through.
He met me in the quiet places. He comforted me when words couldn’t. He stayed close when my heart ached in ways no one else could see.
A Hysterectomy I Didn’t Expect
Later, I faced a hysterectomy that changed my body and tested my emotions. I felt sadness, confusion, and fear about what it meant for my future. But in His mercy, God covered me with peace I couldn’t explain— not all at once, but enough for the next step.
When Fear Tried to Take Over
Some health scares leave deep marks on your heart. There were moments when fear felt louder than faith, but God never let me go.
Bilateral Breast Biopsy
I remember the day I needed a bilateral breast biopsy. I sat in the waiting room, praying silently, trying not to let fear take over. The waiting felt like its own storm. But God was with me in that waiting room.
And praise God — the results came back normal.
Suspected Leukemia After Giving Birth
In 2005, shortly after giving birth to my daughter, doctors thought I might have leukemia. I went for a bone marrow biopsy, trying to stay calm for my newborn and my family. But inside, I was crying out to God.
Fear weighed heavily on me. But then came God’s mercy. The results were normal. My heart calmed again.
The results came back normal.
Even in the storms that shook me the most…God carried me through.
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” (Psalm 56:3)
Lessons Pain Taught Me

I wouldn’t wish some of these seasons on anyone. But now I can see that pain taught me things that nothing else could. It shaped me into the woman I am today.
Here’s what pain taught me:
- Pain taught me compassion.
- Waiting taught me patience.
- Fear taught me courage.
- Loss taught me gratitude.
- Weakness taught me strength.
Every tear, every prayer, every moment I thought I would fall became the place where God’s strength met my weakness.
Why I Encourage Women Today
I don’t write because my life is perfect. I write because I know the God who walks with us through the broken places.
I know the woman who prays with tired hands.
I know the woman who smiles in public but cries in private.
I know the woman who feels like she’s falling apart on the inside.
I know the woman who wonders if God still sees her.
I’ve been her.
And in those quiet, hurting places, God met me. He lifted me. He held me. He carried me when I was afraid and worn out.
That’s why I encourage women. That’s why my heart reaches for women walking through hard seasons, because the same God who carried me is the same God carrying you right now.
For the Woman Reading This Today
Maybe you’re walking through something hard right now.
Maybe you’re waiting for a diagnosis, a breakthrough, or a healing.
Maybe you’re trying to hold on, but your hands feel tired.
I want you to hear this:
You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.
You are not beyond God’s reach.
You are not a burden.
The same God who carried me through surgeries, miscarriages, fear, and uncertainty is carrying you, too.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” (Isaiah 43:2)
Even when the waves rise.
Even when the fear grows.
Even when the answers don’t come.
Even when your courage feels small.
Even when your heart feels weak
God is near. He is faithful. He is carrying you.
A Prayer for Your Heart
Father, for the woman reading this today…
You see her. You know her battles.
Meet her in the place where she needs You most.
Give her peace when fear is loud.
Make her strong when she feels weak.
Lift her when she feels low.
Carry her through every storm—just like You carried me through mine.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Closing Thoughts
My life hasn’t been easy, but it shows one truth: God carried me through every storm I thought would break me.
And He will carry you too.
So, if today you’re finding yourself whispering, I don’t know how I’ll make it, remember: you are not walking alone. You never were. One day, you’ll look back and see the same thread through every tear and every storm.
God never left you. Not for a moment.
